Dentures
Another way to replace missing teeth is to use dentures. Dentures are artificial teeth that are set within a metal or plastic frame and can be removed. They replace missing teeth and can be customised to your specific needs.
Dentures can either be complete or partial. Complete dentures are usually the best option for patients with no teeth in the lower or upper jaw. Upper dentures fit securely against the jaw through suction and sometimes even glue. Lower dentures use the tongue, cheeks and adhesive to be held in place.
Partial dentures can replace one or several teeth missing from your mouth to restore both function and aesthetics. Partial dentures make it easier to chew and eat but it’s important to remember that they cannot completely replace the function of natural teeth. Clasps are used to keep the denture in place between your bone and gums.
The option to use dentures is generally more affordable with a range of materials available for different budgets, needs and preferences. We make sure our denture offerings look as natural as your original teeth without compromising on comfort and function.
